Each is constructed of medium-density fiberboard, hand-painted, and decorated with dyed tagua nuts.  These whimsical flyers are handcrafted by a woman-owned business that employs single moms and internally displaced Afro-Colombians.

The first mobile I bought, but not the last

I bought this at a Chicago Fair Trade pop-up for my mother, who collects rooster/chicken things. What a unique piece to add to her collection! I love the mix of colors on the body and wings. The pull-string makes this a very whimsical and interactive design that hangs proudly near her kitchen. Guests comment on it all the time!
